Here's an interesting story… It all started in 1986 when her pastor approached her during a 6 am prayer meeting and said, "This church is ready for a drama and dance department, and you are the person for the job. Run with it, and let me know of anything you need. She did. She starting running, as has not stopped. So, without any formal training, at the age of 21, her evangelistic ministry officially began on Christmas Day in 1986 when she debuted the dance and drama department of the Christian Tabernacle Evangelistic Church under the leadership of her pastor, the late Rev. William T. Sawyer, Jr.. For 39 years, DaNine K. Ward (dkWard) has been committed to using every gift and talent she has to help Believers grow in their relationships with the Lord, live abundant lives in Christ Jesus, and represent Him wherever they are! In 1990 she founded Lift-Him Ministries Performing Arts Company which evolved to what it is now; dkWard [Creative] Evangelistic Ministries which uses sound biblical teaching, the performing arts (dkWard Quality Entertainment Group), and other creative programs and activities to share the gospel of Jesus Christ and to assist believers in spiritual growth. As a Creative herself, (playwright, director, singer, songwriter, choreographer, and author) she is an Apostle to the Entertainment Industry and championing the positive influence the industry can have on the world for God. Now, Introducing the National Association of Christian Entertainers (NACE)—a vision carried in the heart of Apostle DaNine K. Ward for over 19 years.
